Description
The first day of my vacation I can't make too long a hike. Acclimatisation needs some time and the weather is going to change. With some 550 m (1805 ft) up and down it is not too bad a start of a vacation. So I decide to go down after enjoying my lunch at 2600 m (8530 ft). It's funny to discover flowers I didn't see before when I ascended the mountain. This slender gentian (Gentiana tenella) is so small I must have overlooked it, with 2 cm height it just seems to be part of the grasses around. Time for me to lie down, and do the best I can shooting this macro. So here you are, a new species of gentians (once again)!
