sunbird, of some kind.
another digitised old photo from 20 years ago.
taken with an olympus with a cheapo 600 mirror
lens.
sunbirds are the old world's alternative to
hummingbirds.
and as with hummingbirds, if you don't get the light exactly right, they look black...
