Description
Demoiselle Dragonfly and her little protegee.
I had a lot of fun with this image....This is almost straight Poser, very little postwork, I just loved the stillness here, I have a deep sentimental attachment to this image because the texture is based on my Mom, on the Old woman, and the child's texture is based on my Daughter, so it was kind of neat to weave them into an artwork that truly depicts their close relationship.

PS Thats Quim Abella's "Perlova" Tex mixed with mine, and his dragonfly wings...
I always forget stuff, honestly, I must correct these things about four times before I get it right LOL, face on child is from my "Through The Eyes of a Child" pack, its Aurelie, I made the face based on a photograph of my daughter at that age. I meant to tell how I worked on faces based on real children, and how much Chelsea's face kinda influenced me, and now I will shut up. Oh, original image was like 3000 x 3000, thus the bigger face in thumbnail, I didn't think anybody wanted to scroll for ages across the page!

Syyd you have no idea how much this moves me in every way! I do not have children, and this might seem silly, but this reminds me so much of how my mom holds me in her heart, she is my best friend and really my greatest love, I am that little one sitting in her lap, because I will always be her little girl :-) LOL I am rambling now, anyway thanks for sharing this amazing work of yours :-)

Woderful wings.. but of all the works I have seen from you I would have expected some reflections on the transparent cells of it, adding the micro concavtity it actually would have(you may have had something such..it could be the lighting.. if so just forget all the nonsence I have set here!)
