Description

10.32pm. The real world. Ambin slips out the back door into the alley behind the hotel. As a Shink, her unearthly wings deny her the luxury of being able to leave through the foyer like any other Vixen. She brushes the hair from the back of her neck, still sweaty from the evening's activities. She looks left, toward the bins at the back of the hotel, then studies the row of windows overlooking the alley. All black. Satisifed nobody is watching, she turns right and strides toward the rendezvous with Sinistra. There is a loud thump nearby. A dog in a first-floor apartment starts barking. Ambin curses under her breath and dashes into the shadows. She tries to reach out with her mind, to see if anybody has seen her, but as usual her powers in the real world are greatly diminished. She senses nothing. Then...something. A small pulse, like a blib on a radar screen, reaches out to her and then vanishes. She jumps, surprised at the first sign of her powers working outside of Sarodor. She stands rooted on the spot, straining to connect with the elusive mind. It dances just outside her grasp, tantalising her with tempting shapes and hidden meanings. She clenches her fists and summons every ounce of concentration. For several seconds, nothing. Then, her mind growing weary, about to give up... It hits her hard. No longer resembling a blip on a radar screen, the call is like an air raid siren inside her mind. Danger. Violence. A desperate cry for help. Ambin staggers backward and turns to run. Back to Sinistra. To Sarodor. To safety. Then a strange, cold fury washes over her. A desperate cry for help. A cry that only she has heard. Her muscles tense. Adrenalin flows through her body. She spreads her mighty wings. Above her, the dog stops barking. Credits: Celeste Clothes from DAZ Bump maps by me

Your writing style really grabs you and pulls you into the story. It is amazing where you have taken us with the Vixens. Ambin is a beauty. Excellent artwork!

Awesome lighting, and a wonderful expression. Those lips are sheer perfection, and her large eyes are fantastic. I'm so glad you picked up the story again. The best ever story on 'rosity IMO. So many twists and turns and characters - brilliant. Now what will Ambin get herself into? Can't wait for the next episode! Excellent, excellent and excellent again.
