Description

Nobody's Hero Sept. 2005 (Poser & Lot of Photoshop) Yesterday, when I saw the last post from Hedda, I became sad, sad 'cause she's gone for a while ( hope you find your way my friend and come back soon). When I am sad, I listen sad songs (it's stupid, but it's like this) then I listened "Nobody's Hero" from the last Bon Jovi album, and I decided to find lyrics text on the Net. I found it and when I read them, I think again to the US Tragedy with Katrina, like they had written this song for the victims of a tragedy. My thoughts inspired me this image. I left the straight trees with their sheets and chidren's contrast which symbolizes.... HOPE. White people are not all rich, Black people are not all poor... But.... When Nature is angry, we are really so little!!! My thoughts to all the victims in USA and now in Japan. ********* All by me except the song,of course, from Bon Jovi Album: 100,000,000 Bon Jovi Fans Can't Be Wrong (Dics 4) Hope you enjoy and thank you for comments PEACE

This has to be the most inspiring artwork I've ever seen, it really is heartwrenching and the lyrics fit this so very well. It also reminds me of 'He ain't heavy, he's my brother'... This is an instant classic and for certain a favorite that I will look at over and over again as a reminder of what humanity can be. You have a big heart Eric and bless you for having it.

Wonderful tribute Eric ! The words to the song do seem as if they were written for Victims of Katrina. The image and lyrics go together beautifully. Very emotive and touching too. I live in the US in the State of New Mexico ( not Mexico :-) ) and we are bringing thousands of Katrina victims to our Convention center in Albuquerque. I am pleased, at last, for the generosity and kindness of all the cities that are taking in the victims. Finally, our country is coming together aroud this trajedy. AND you are right...not all the victims are black. There are many victims of all races and colors. You mention " Now Japan " ??? What have I missed? Did something happen there ?

Oh Eric this is exceptional work this is such a fantastic tribute to such a sad thing that has happened. Image wise it is just incredible and so meaningful the expression is perfect and the eyes make me want to cry. I wonder how many countries are rallying round for America right now and it's people I have no clue. The song is perfect for the image. I do hope I have worded this right :) Cathy xoxoxo

Molto toccante, Eric - un peccato che ci voglia una tragedia per ricordarci che siamo tutti della stessa specie (sperando che succeda)... triste... ma molto bella... ottima dedica.
