Broke stone isn't really her name at all. I just made that up from where I saw her.
We went to the movies and saw March of the penguins. great flick YOU must see it!!
...and after it was over the kids wanted to go across the street. To the "Brookstone store".
They like the massage chairs in there haha!!.
SO Ok I am sitting comfy in this wonderful $3000 doller massage chair. LOL . (Sorry kids new rule have to be over 18 now to sit in them now).
And so, I see this teen with attitude, huge leather boots -fishnet stockings and catglasses sitting across the room on a Sweedish temprpedic bed. and SO I dig deep in my black purse and pull out my old 330 kodak wanna be camera. hehe. and walk over and ask ,"hey can I take your pic ??-I sure do like those boots!!~ she sayz sure and smiles up , and thats when I shot this..
so it wasnt propped or planned just happened like most everything in my life. It just happens. I am spontanious and I like it that way.
I did a buncha postwork to make it stand out a bit more and get the store studd out of the way. Cept for the sweedish temprapedic bed - just softened.
Mike didn't like me taking a pic of her.. guess he thought the outfit was too much . I thought she looked cool. Reminded me of the 80's- black short sirts and fishnet stockings - brought me back 20 years.. still looks cool. yup.
ok bedtime ..I will catch up on commenting in the mornin' tired 2 am. played with thing for too long LOL!!!!!!!!! yawn..

Great chance -- and a great pic! I wish I had courage like yours to ask people. Reminded me of a "teach-uh" at first and I saw "Brook" and I thought of "Our Miss Brooks" (which really dates me) and it really got my attention.

Excellent "unplanned" portrait ! You are lucky to be a woman... this makes it more easy when you ask permission to shot a female model ! When I do, girls are always asking what I really want... lol ! Marvellous B/W photography with a real fabulous light and shadow setting! I have to say your old 330 Kodak camera is still doing very very well! I love the wonderful quality of it! Kim, you missed an opportunity to make this part of the CD cover contest. It would have been called "These Boots areMade for Walking" by Nancy Sinatra...Remember it? Only a woan can get away with walking up to a girl. Us guy would be called PURVs (some of us are) LOL. Great capture.

THIS is a great shot of a very interesting girl. Those glasses give her a kind of studious look which is a fascinating contrast to her outfit. Love it! And your postwork really lets us focus on her. Reminds me of a young couple we saw on a recent outing to a place called Hudson Gardens - amongst this gorgeous garden setting of blossoms and lakes and all things natural was this guy and girl who were all dressed in black - she in tons of dark makeup and fishnet stockings and boots up to her thighs - he in black leather on a hot summer day - holding hands - enjoying all the natural beauty. Wish I had been like you and asked them if I could take their pic. :o) CC

She is not just Miss Universe, LOl but she looks very sexy also if she has the habit more to look over her glasses than through it, what remind me at a teacher in my secondary class, we called her "Miss Double eyes", LOL!!!
