paul simon, hearts and bones: "he said why, why can't you love me for who i am what i am? she said cuz that's not the way love works baby. this is how i love you baby". |||| seems to me somehow a question of what is and what isn't. should be is a clause we use when we don't like the answers we get to the question of what is and what isn't. In the end, you'll get as good as you give. that seems to a be a constant.
