Description

Following Mayliah's lead, this is the original of the postworked image I posted under the "Crack Woman" thread in the forum. I like it even though I still think the postworked one is more interesting. It was a very high contrast and bright sort of day when I took this. I liked the way the sun was shining on this particular spot in the garden and how that one white flower in the middle is kind of reaching over. The only thing I did to this was sharpen and adjust the contrast a little, so Pascale, I hope you like it!

This reminds me of something a boy said to me 30 years ago: "El mundo es un parao, si tuviamos ojos para verlo." The world is a paradise, if we had eyes to see it.

Great shot, and although I'm a big fan of postwork (Vive le postwerke!) it's a tribute to the scene itself when it's not needed! This has interesting layers like a theater set...

Awwwww! My dear Jack! I do like it since flowers are always a delightful sight! Now, if I may, I think an exposure compensation would have helped the highlights in such a bright light! Underexpose by a few stops when it's sunny like that!! Other than that, it's a beautifully luminous shot with a great peaceful feeling and I like that indeed! ;)

Kissed by the sunlight and captured beautifully. I love garden shots..especially gardens that are wonderfully mussed and a bit wild, as opposed to the carefully manicured ones. This is fesh and delightful and very lovely.
