Description

Hey all. Hmm, this came totally by accident. I had decided to work on a rather old animation, "updating" it to use Dreamscape, and accidentally got a sort of stormy effect which I really liked. Decided to put some more time into it; "Some more time" morphed into about 6 hours, and I ended up with a quite nice render that I brought into Photoshop for post. Also decided to render as an animation overnight... came out well, I think. Posted at 1024x768, let me know if you want a bigger version or something.. highest is 2048x1536. Critique welcome. Animated version available here: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/22746692/ Click the "download to desktop" button under the image. 3ds max 7, Dreamscape 2.5, Photoshop 9 post (rain/color correction). Created in ~7 hours, Rendered 2048x1536 in ~7 minutes.

Thanks a lot, much appreciated. :) I really like the way it came out. By the way, edited the description to add a link to the animated version (11 seconds long).

Thats incredible! The animation version is so beautiful, it seems almost cinematic. Would be a great background for something!

This looks very realistic. I would love to know more about the textures and the modelling. Keep up the good work :)
