It's strange when
All the things we do
Are easier to say than
WHO we truly are...

BIO
I live with my family: my dear wife and little daughter, who seem to love me well in spite of my many eccentricities. I paint and sketch as well as write and sing, and am currently in a state of flux where my style of writing and art are being challenged to change and grow. I think I'll be in this state for a while.

What a meaningful painting...it seems that the mountains, the land and the sun are lamenting a disaster and yet I can sense strength behind the dwindling hope of the landscape. Ah, and the "whips of Nature" not only should not break one's pride but should, in essence, restore us to Him and in the process, heal us; for what other purpose does Nature have in mind for mankind but to unite us and remind us of Him?

Purification and restoration are so closly joined, like two sides of the same coin. You have conveyed beautifully in painting and word the concept of turning away from darkness and towards the Light. The key is to not let pride get in the way of realizing the most excellent Blessing of all. Excellent! V
