Description

The cloud-formations in the west show some nice details when observed with a telelens. Smoking clouds ascend the slopes of this mountain covering it under a night-cap. It's great to see how the clouds move and new clouds are being formed on the bottom-side. It's hard to read a book when I see these things happen! :) Enjyou your Sunday! Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 300 mm) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

Yes, this is the thing which spoil the joy of reaching a top of a mountain. Good capture.

The mountains are a fabric of clouds !!! And it's often difficult to make photography in these conditions. But You've make a very interesting shot here, the clouds and the light illuminate the mountain in a lovely way. Excellent capture in hard conditions. Have a great week-end Jan Carel !

Brilliant. Those smoldering cliffs are magical and dangerous looking. Theses something very special about watching clouds form out of nothing.

Very cool image. I have spent countless hours at the Pacific Coast (around Big Sur), where the clouds seem to move incredibly fast (up the steep coast). It is always a wonderful spectacle. Your image captures it very well, I can almost see them move.

Beautiful clouds - it somewhat resembles an active volcano with pyroclastic flows along its sides. Love it!
