Description
This one was inspired by a scene in a documentary DVD film ("Winged Migration", recommenden watching, if you like great nature films. Lots of inspirings shots and scenery in that!)
The main objective was to try and capture the clouded misty mood over the river.
But - I didn't think was good enough nor particularly interesting etc. at first, so I didn't wan't to upload it. My daughter, however - always my most trusted critic - thought it was quite good, so here it is :)
Vue with colour/levels correction in Photoshop. 2 ecosystems.
Rendered in "Superior" with global ambience, 3 hrs. render.
Foreground trees made with Treepro, some groundcover grass made with Bantam3D Grass 7.

your foreground is sumptuous, water, mood, hut and grass .... but birds are not in scale. Great composed picture

Listen to your daughter, sounds like she giving you great advice :) Excellent job. My only quibble is that the trees in the midground on the left are quite similar. I agree with celtxian about the textures on the far castle walls, but the others appear fine to me. Again, Excellent Job!
