Description

Another forest scene, a close-up this time. I'm a dedicated "shroomer", but we haven't had too many mushrooms in my country/region lately (too dry weather), so why not dream some up in Vue :) Vue, Xfrog (the pine cones) and photoshop for minor corrections. Extensive modelling involved, esp. with the mushrooms. Groundcover is made with one ecosystem, "moss" designed in Bantam3D "Grass 7". 91 mio polys, rendered in 42 min in "Broadcast", Global Ambience. Hope you like this - thanks for any comments & votes you may wish to leave. - If you decide to eat the mushrooms, it's at your own risk. I know the mushrooms in nature, I'm not so sure about the virtual ones... Have a nice day - Lars

I like the ground texture (moss), the depth of view and yuck I dont like eating mushrooms even edible, cooked ones, but I like looking at them, that is it, lol. Nice job on those pine cones .

Great pov. It's a lovely scene really, it looks realistic in a way that I wouldn't be surprised to see this for real. The moss is also excellent.

oh oh oh this is so gorgeous! You've done a fantastic job with your modeling and those pinecones are, well they're beyond my ability to find an adjective to describe them. v
