Description

Looking to the south over the Vispertal (valley of Visp) splitting into the Saastal and the Mattertal (right behind the next mountain, not visible) we can see the real high mountains (up to more than 4500 m, 15000 ft) covered in the clouds and the humid sky. With other words, we can NOT see them. I hope they will become visible soon! Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 35 mm) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

Another beautiful shot with the town nestled in the valley below! I'd love to just lay back on the big rock on the left and watch the clouds go by :)

Wonderful unviewable view of the highest peaks of the Alps:) Great sense of distance due to the heavy haze - this valley seems to go on forever. Love it!

A most beautiful and rewarding view here. And did you say a mountain up to a more than 15,000 ft? Wow, that is very high. I can only imagine how it feels to be at that heights. The air at 13,796 ft was pretty thin for me in my hikes. You'd probably need a oxygen tank at that height at 15k feet. Wow. This will linger in my thought forever. Excellent shot. Aloha
