Description

So, heres a cool spot for some afternoon zen, right out there on that rock, next to the roaring San Joaquin River. One of my favorites, I didn't climb to the botton for a straight forwart shot, perhaps next time, it's kind of treacherous! Thanks to all for the awesome comments on my last posting, 'Morning Zen' I am glad you enjoyed!

About 12 years ago there was a bad fire through this area. So over the years the heavy snow has layed down the trees that were damaged. Alot has grown back. but alot is still looks burnt. This is actually a better looking area. (fYI) 8-)

beautiful place to sit and relate, but hope that a snake does not have the same idea. as a teenager, I was fishing on a small creek and sitting on a rock. I went to get bait on an island and when I cam back a water moscasin decided that he prefers the rock

Awesome! Very powerful waters and yet I know there is more that would over flow this area. That tree is proof of the rivers potential strength. Excellent hikes and stay safe. Aloha
