Description

on one of my earlier trips to Kenya i got to visit the carvers' village in Mombosa. this man is putting the final touch on the mask he carved and finished. i must admit that seeing all the raw teak and ebony made my hands twitch.

Some people do marvelous things with so little to work with!The mask was always there! He only had to remove the excess wood,he would probably say!What of talent,and craftmanship!Bravo!Love the mood,light & tone here!Very well capture my friend!You do nice work as well!Good day:)
