Description

Usually purple gentians (Gentiana purpurea) are purple. Common name says it. Scientific name says it. But this one turned out to be yellow, and looking in the book I found it's not the spotted gentian (that one is yellow but carries dots all over the flower, and it does not bloom in this region), but a rare yellow variation of the purple gentian. Another new gentian for me this vacation! Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 80 mm) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments
