Description

I wasnt going to put it up wasnt crazy about it cause its kinda touristy - I prefer / like and try to do shot that are unique but my daughter loves it so much and its her bday this week so ok Chrissy .. hehe... Taken at "Sea World on my recent vacation. at the dolphin show.!! Here is a pic of a pretty sweet blonde from the audiance dancing with a dolphin. I left my seat and ran down to the front where the tank was I think they got upset at me but I wanted the shot for Chrissy who loves doplins! ... to get back at me for comming up to the tank during the show -the trainer guy gave the dolphin the signal to splash me with his flipper and LOL!! I got sopping wet . everyone laughed. So guess I should put it up -cause maybe I got all wet for a reason lol. Isn't that dolphin cute dancin with the blond..(grin) its a happy flipper hehe... thanks for your time and comments!! big hugs to all ♥ ! Kimmers

Very Cute Smudgie...here is a NZ Folk Song of a Wild Dolphin that visited a particular Beach ### "He's Opo the friendy Dolphin, He's friendly as can be, If you should want to learn to swim, You couldn't do better than learn from Him, Hell very soon get you into trim, And He's giving instruction free, Down at good old Opononi by the Sea"

Hey Kool Aid!! LOL! I know the exact spot where this was taken, and it's an exhibit that you can spend may hours just watching their behaviors! I think nearby is the petting aquarium that you can hold starfish and pet manta rays!! Sea World is such a great place and it's very relaxing to visit!! Happy birthday to your daughter!! I bet she had a blast here!!! Excellent capture!!

just heard on the radio that they recovered the 6 dolphin's "lost" due to Katrina. they were down in the Gulf and unable to feed themselves. however the "trainer" found them and they've been "rescued" and taken back to a pen. at least they'll survive there i guess. very good shot Kimmers! V

Oh Kimmy what a capture!!! Even though it pisses me off to see dolphins in captivity, this is still a great shot!!! Perfect timing and gorgeous colors!! Very well done!

Always one of my favorite creatures. When I'm sailing I can always count on the dolphins to jazz up the day. They're magnificent and intelligent and they love to entertain. It is hard to see them captive, but I've met some of the trainers and handlers and they are great and compassionate people. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice slice of life, Kimmers. I agree with the previous poster about animals in captivity but this really IS cool. I will admit to having an aquarium with two fish, but only because the previous owner couldn't take care of them. :-) Excellent!

Wow - what a fun shot! It was worth getting wet because this is absolutely fantastic. Holding hands/fins with a dolphin - I mean, how cool is that? :o) CC

I was wondering how wet you got, glad you told us! That dolphin would have been really happy to be dancing with you too. Great shot, sometimes an artist has to pay the price for their work!

Dang I was just thinking about your camera, and didn't realize this is the show that it probably took an unexpected swim. But the shot is fantastic...sometimes you gotta run with scissors, draw outside the lines, and sneak down from your seat when your suppose to be sitting. That's what photograpy is all about...alot of shots are so momentary, a bit of hesitation and it's gone. You got the shot, and they can't take that away from you. Way to go Kimmers!! Aloha!

Great shot Kim. Actually, I'm a little like Tibet and don't like dolphins in captivity... I was lucky enough to meet some dolphins around a little boat in Atlantic, and god, it's a stunning time. By the way, happy birthday to Chrissy. Hugs.

when you're a tourist, you take tourist pics..actually most tourists wouldn't run down to the tank like you did. The salt water didn't damage your camera?.. I know that waters cold because i've been splashed at Seaworld Orlando..burrrr.
