Description

My first car post, and my first succesful car I modeled. I tried several times before but I got frustrated with my hideous messes of polygons and left them to sit in my C drive forever more ;-) So I'm kinda proud of this. It's not nearly as good as a lot of cars I've seen here but for me it's good. It's based on a car I had in Need for Speed Underground 2 with the Mantis wide body kit (if that means anything to anyone) thus the non "TT-ish" body shape. Modeled in Wings 3D, materials and rendering in Vue 4. Hope you like it!

Oi.. that's certainly a step up in complexity from that katana. Nice work man, I know these type of sleek mechanical things can be tough to pull off right. Not like biological stuff where you can get away with some bumps and irregularity here and there.. everything has to be nice and smooth here, all straight and curved at the same time etc, so can be tricky. Don't think I've ever seen you in any of the Wings forums.. could maybe post this in the Wings forum here at R'osity, I've never done a high-poly car and would be curious to see the wire/cage.. even if it IS a bit messy in some places ;]

All I can say is this is stunning work, specially for Wings. I know how hard it is to come up with somethin like this in Wings, so U have done just an amazing job here, just stunning. Its just owesome work. Post some of the wirework in Wings Forums, I would like to see it too. Very owesome.
