Description

This is my version of Leonardo Da Vinci's Madonna of the Rocks. He did 2 versions himself. I incorporated elements from both of his as well as changing the pose of the Madonna to a kneeling position rather than having her seated. Too many hours to even guess at. Painted in Painter IX with a Wacom Tablet and Intous2 pen. Comments and votes welcome. Hope you like it.

Your version of"la Madonna delle rocce"of Leonardo, looks very similar to the original. Only need a little be more vivid colors. For me is a splendid artpiece!!!bravo!V:DDD

i dont know why here are only 2 comments because its great artwork and Leonardo da Vinic will be proud of you if he see it ( also i think he will love the Digital world too, he was always a open mind for all). Soo i hope to see more of your Artwork soon. thanks for sharing it !!!

Fascinating to see this version of what was my favourite painting when I was about 14 years old. I like yours very much, and I am inspired to get to grips with my wacom set up. I lost interest when the programme i found so easy 'Art Dabbler' was replaced by Corel Painter which I haven't mastered.
