Writer, photographer, editor and storybook consultant
BIOPhotography became a hobby when I first began having children and a career when I became the managing editor of a small town paper. Now I write, take photographs and edit on a daily basis. Lately my photography has expanded to include portraits, landscapes and nostalgic shots of children.
Most recently I have taken my photography to storybooks by becoming a consultant for a great new storybook company, heirloomstorybooks.com. My children have loved looking at their own photographs in those books and look forward to what I will do in the future. My youngest has actually become quite the little model!

Thanks to everyone for your comments! Just had to explain in a little more detail. These falls are located up a narrow canyon just 20 minutes from our house. To get there you have to walk through waist deep water between canyon walls that are only 4 feet wide in some places. Other places are in and out of the water, on narrow trails and muddy pathways. Absolutely Gorgeous!! There is a waterfall that drops probably 20-30 feet before this one that has a log from the bottom to the top that you have to climb up to get this far. Slippery and quite a trick with all the little kids we had with us! There is another fall between the two that you have to go around, but talk about a photographers paradise! It was an absolute ball! Well, just had to throw a few details in there for you!
