Description

I took this photo while Jeep'n in Moab, Utah last week. The steep hill in the middle is called Lion's Back and it's a favorite obstacle to tackle. Jeeps climb up the face of the rock, turn around on top and drive back down. Yes, there have been plenty of accidents while attempting it, but the rush is enough to keep people coming back. We took Hell's Revenge Trail that day in a brand new Jeep Rubicon! Nice Jeep!! We didn't pass up a single obstacle on the trail ... we came and conquered all!

Eh...this is just incredible. I cant even begin to tell you how awesome i find this shot to be. The quality is amazing and the colors are also fantastic. Please dont get me wrong, cause this is meant as the biggest of compliments....but it really does look like a Terragen-render created by the master of Terragen. So surreal. What kind of camera did you use i wonder...any filters? Ooops...sorry for this long comment. But this is the coolest looking landscape-shot i have seen in a looong time. Have a great week!!! #:O)

Thanks for the compliments! I used my Canon Rebel with a polarized filter. This was actually taken while on my first magazine assignment. Can't wait to see my story and shots in print!

Whew! What an excellent shot here! Nice color satuaration and compo! I remember watching a program on TV where a jeep lost it coming down and went right over the side...luckily now one was killed...pretty nasty ride down tho-! Hope your magazine shots come out alright! Aloha!

Fantastic colors of this wonderful and surreal landscape! LOL @ jeeps driving up - I can imagine the thrill but it's fairly dangerous to do so.... Gorgeous work, it's really very beautiful! :)
