Description

Well put a lot of work into this one. The devil is in the details I tell you. This is an American Spad. (the plane is French but the pilots of this one is American) I like the Spad it is probably the most interesting of the allied planes of WW1 not dainty like the Neuports and more interesting to look at than a camel. I plan on doing a dogfight with it later I will be working on a Siemens and Shukert D3 for that. Modeled in Wings rendered in Bryce photoshop textures.

Always very interested in aircraft especially WW1 aircraft. You've done an absolutely amazing job in the details, pretty darned close.I had a quick look at my reference materials regarding the "American" Spad,as well as a kit I'd built many years ago. Some minor shortcomings in your work...but I realize all the painstaking work you put into this splendid model.A very fast aircraft for the day, able to get in and out of danger fast too.The one drawback of this aircraft was it's rather poor turning radius. I admire your efforts! :B eaver !

GREAT JOB. Best yet. It realy is amazing how you improve with every new project. I'm not sure about the leading edge on the top wing though. Should it be bumpy in front like that? I realy like the engine cowling details. The picture looks great overall.

I'd never trust a syncronized cannon. Shoot your own prop off and you're a goner. Excellent modeling.

Excellent details in this Spad. IMO it is the best looking biplane in WW1. Top Work! You should sell the planes here. ~Uwe
