Hello everyone! Here is something a bit different from the cheerful flowers as of late. It is the "Porte de Hal," located in the Saint Gilles community of Brussels, Belgium. It is the last remaining gate of the second medievel defensive wall of the city. Built in 1381, the tower gate served its original purpose until 1564. During the long period of time after the tower was no longer needed for defensive purposes, it has also been used to store grain, as a "temple luth

OOOOOH!!! What a perfect B/W shot!!! You NAILED those tones Stefanie!!! Excellent capture for sure!!! OOoh ooooh, know what would be cool? Some selective coloring on that green plant (me=swedish...me not also much of a botanist, lol) crawling up on the fasade. EXCELLENT WORK!!! Have a wonderful day #:O)
