I am a 30-year old American woman, married to a Portugese man, and we live happily together in Brussels, Belgium. My husband bought me my Canon IXUS 530 for Christmas three years ago, and thus a new hobby was born. Since then, I have also used a Fujifilm S9000, and received my first DSLR camera, a Canon EOS 40D for my 30th birthday.
I have a BA in World Religions and East Asian Studies. My other interests include crochet, role-playing, cats, language studies, poetry, cooking, collecting prayer beads, and so much more. I have found the Renderosity community to be a delightfully warm and helpful group of people. With your continued support, I am learning more every day. Please visit my online gallery (and leave a note in the guestbook so I know you dropped by): http://www.transientangel.net

LOL! Wakey wakey little fella. Wonderfully composed with that natural frame that those leafs and branches provides. And the background has such a fascinating grey haze to it, which really gives that landmark great contrast. Have a wonderful weekend Stefanie. #:O)

This is funny and a bit ironic for me too. I fell asleep like that on a wharf in some small fishing village in Denmark years ago. Darn Jet lag. Its funny that you captured this image. I am glad to know that I am not the only one !!!! :-)

i like how the shaddow falls, the geometry it forms with the tourist and the whole monolith thingie...i wish the shaddow was stretching a bit more from it and those leaves out of the frame in the upper left corner...however the coolest thing about the photo is the simple light you caught on your subject and the antinomy and fog-like background, the 'misty' hazy bleak walls of the building...i wish sb would catch me sleeping like that somewhere outdoors :)
