Description

The immense massif of the snowcovered Dom (4545 m, 14911 ft) is even from this height, standing on the Augstbordhorn (2973 m, 9754 ft) on a distance of about 16 km (10 miles), still a giant mountain. Artic weather-conditions on these altitudes, where temperatures rarely pass the freezing-point, are the cause of the white world up here. The Riedgletscher is one of the glaciers that slowly transport the ice down into the valley. Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 100 mm) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments
