Nice scene! It's really lovely. As always, water is really nice and textures too. Maybe the dog can seems a little "plastic"... but maybe not ^_^

kodewarrior1 is right about the plastic look to the dog. The dog would have much more realistic fur with added texture and trans maps. Star3mation also IM'd me with another excellent idea, put a puddle of weater under the dog! If I do not get around to doing an update, I will still keep these ideas in mind for future renders. Thanks much for both encouragement and great helpful ideas on how to improve!
