Lions are a major motif in St. Augustine. This lion head on an old fountain is a prime example of the many uses of lions in sculpture and art around the city. Looks like a shell even. Wonderful mix of that "colorless" stonelion and arche (i probably misspelled half the words by now...sigh...wheres my dictionary) together with that blue mosaic. That was probably also misspelled....SIGH!! I think i should just walk doggie now....BEAUTIFUL PHOTO THOUGH KORT!!!! Have a great day. #:O)
