Description

Did you know that three of the top five news organisations took advantage of Frogdot Industries new Simulated Environment Media Center during the recent hurricane disasters? Their ratings were just as high as any of their competitors and none of their reporters were ever at serious risk of losing their lives, or being without doughnuts and coffee. We here at Frogdot Industries have two goals. To make things better for mankind and to make a fast buck in the process. Our full-service one-stop center can simulate any weather conditions and geographic location with the use of expensive props and convincing photo backdrops. Why should war correspondents go all the way to Iraq, when they can stand in a simulated dust storm with live ammunition flying over their heads, right here in our studios? We will even supply authentic looking actors, dressed in local garb to answer all those stupid repetitious questions that journalists ask. For an extra fee, they will cry on que and sound really sincere. In our now famous hurricane stage, we have experienced stagehands that will toss debris behind you while you stand in water up to your knees. We can even fake those impromptu falls, or hilarious bloopers/accidents that viewers love to watch, all with the guidance of professional stuntworkers. Starting at a bargain $60 per hour, why would you want to travel with a news crew in a smelly van, to Florida, then to Texas, then Mississippi and Louisiana and back to Florida again, just for a live shot of a hurricane? We can also simulate earthquakes, volcanoes, wildfires, floods and nearly any other known disaster that your viewers may want to enjoy. All in one central luxurious complex. *** We plan to contribute all..uh, some, of our profits toward our next government approved operation, the Great Seawall Project. We have underbid Haliburton and will soon be constructing a 40 foot high concrete wall along the coast from Brownsville, Texas to Virginia Beach, Virginia. All at only twice the original price.

One of the very few renders I actually laugh at. It's not just the reporters that are cashing in though ;)

For years, I've watched those idiots and shouted at them: "Get yourself to somewhere safe, moron!" Why do they think that doing this makes the reporting somehow improved? And why do they stand outside courthouses when there's a trial inside to report on? Does it make the reporting more factual somehow? Great idea. V

I was laughing so hard my husband had to come around the desks to see what I was looking at. Dave, my husband and I make fun of this every time we watch it on tv, and often wonder where the wind machine is and when they will release a chunck of debris. This is great.....(=
