Description

I can't take it anymore!!!! I have to upload!!! For those of you who didn't know, my computer crashed hard! We are still in the process of replacing it. In the meantime I am using my husbands laptop. It takes some getting use to. I was using PS Elements and now have PS7. I hope this comes out okay???? I went heavy on the contrast and may have overdone it. You will have to let me know, because I have no idea!! LOL :) This was taken the last weekend in August. They only open the gate, at the top of White Mountain, to the public twice a year and the first time I got snowed on! So this weekend was perfect weather, almost clear, some fires made it a little hazy, so I didn't take many pics of looking down toward the valley. White Mountain is over 14000 feet (sorry, don't know the metric conversion) and this picture was taken at just above 13000 feet. I have more pics I will post as I can. Sorry I haven't been commenting much, but as soon as I'm back on full board, with new pc, I promise to catch up!!! Missed everyone!!!! Huggggssss!!! Kim

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!! Youre back!!!! Even if its only for a short time. And what photo you decide to upload...jeeeez...its GOOOOORGEOUS!!!! Those mountains looks pretty surreal to me. Im used to seeing hills and mountains covered with firetrees and pines.....not NOTHING, lol. Thank you for your comment by the way....meanie, lol. Well better run along now...have me some breakfast. Have a wonderful day and hurry back already will ya? #:O)

Impressive heights, 13000 feet equals almost 4,000 meters! Where did you shoot it? I see bedrock, could be the Rockies but that's still a vast mountain area! Wonderful capture of this rugged landscape!

Finally! And you came back in with such a beautiful shot! I really like the way that you, did the foreground. Awesome coloring, and the composition is very interesting! Looks like a healthy hike.
