Description
Materials: Chelsea(LTD) for the DAZ PT, modified BAT Labs outfit, primitives modified via AnythingGrooves with procedural shaders. Rendered in Carrara4Pro.
Commentary: This is the second of a concept series. The intent was to avoid the didactic and make an image where mood, setting, and story are ambiguous. The viewer is invited to read their own interpretations as to what kind of world this might be and what place the girl has in it. Thus, the setting is deliberately artificial and lacking the cues that put it into human scale or needs.
Technical: BAT Labs "SLS" outfit for Posette refit using Wardrobe Wizard and retextured. Multiple magnets to tweak the adjustment, and complex multi-channel shaders adjusting the texture maps on clothing and skin. Lit with one distant light and a large AnythingGlows panel just off-camera. The StarBright generated starfield was comped in during post.
Also uses Zippo's "zurazura" hair, and boots from my "Woodland" set here in the Marketplace. The point of the set was to show off a complex procedural "greeble" shader -- available for free download via the Carrara forum.

This is so cool and full of adventure. I feel like I'm in the middle of a SCI- FI movie! Great concept, modles, textures/lighting, rendering.

I also prefer white lead to white slave.

It almost reminds me of a italian sci-fi multimedia novel that was published in the early 80's called "sinkha" in heavy metal mag. In the early use of strata 3-D her character reminds me of her, same kind of setting!
mapps
cool :-)
