Description

After a great day on the Augstbordhorn it's great to return home, have a good dinner and sit outside to read that book I tried to finish. While the sun is setting this rosebay willowherb (Epilobium angustifolium) attracts my attention. It's growing in the garden but it's a very common wildflower here in the mountains. I am fascinated by the backlight (yes, the influence of RR stimulates me to experiment on lighting!) and here's the result (after waiting a long time before the wind pauses just a second to shoot this one). Under the flowers you see the seeds and above the flowers you see the buds. Throughout the days of my vacation I saw the blooming flowers higher and higher on the stem. Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 300 mm) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments
