I'm trying to improve my skills these days but I'm running out of new ideas and techniques.
All comments are welcome, but I would really appreciate any that could help me take a render like this to the next level.

I like the way you have this climbing out of a magic portal or box and the reprise on the fog.

I'm afraid I can't help you there. This is quite awesome, the lighting is fantastic and the blueish magic fog is excellent. I especially like the light it is casting on his chest. Maybe his wing is lit up a little too much, that's the only point I can think of when viewing this great image.

Err..I find no flaws in it. This is an excellent piece and I am shocked it hasn't had more comments. The work is fantastic.
