Description
The view from inside a troop transport.
ETA 5 minutes to the LZ and its time to get ready for action. Doc is prepping her gear, Capt. is communicating with the pilots and one squad member is just sleeping.
I was always the sleeping guy. From the time the vehicle moved to the time it stopped I was always catching a few extra minutes.
Legion is from SA and GSFC by Stonemason, both modified for this scene. Render took 74 hours for the main piece and two other pieces took 1 hour each.

Great setup and lighting. I could see this being part of a video game cutscene or something. Great job. If you were the sleeping guy, I'd probably be the Doc, making sure my stuff was ready.

Awesome work!!! 74 hours???!!! OW. Not even 3D Studio Max has render times like that. Tho, if you use Final Render, and do a long animation, you know the pain of the never ending render! Awesome work! We seriously need to petition E-Frontier to make the FireFly renderer a REAL renderer. :) Keep it up man!
