Description

She will appear again in the time Of summer's end When the moon is full, The color of fire Cold and pale. There will be signs hidden All around, Visible but unseen, Calling her to live and roam Through the fields and woods. From the "Book of the Red Witch", 1790

This is just too eerie, and that totem looks so wicked! The grayscale really gives this image such a dramatic mood and the words compliment the piece perfectly! I just hope I'm not around when she appears!! Excellent work!

Mmmmmh! The background is too bright here IMHO!! It makes hard to look at it. I think the use of a flash would have helped here. Other than that, a great find! Love that kind of "tribal" art.

I like the way the totem is more 'real' than nature. I also like the way that it is somewhat obscured, mysterious, hidden. Great quote :)

A striking image! The shades of grey are very stunning. This reminds me of Poe somehow. Beautiful work!

Didn't H.P. Lovecraft get his inspiration from this work, Jack? Great work . . . !

The quote, coupled with the image makes this post deeply mysterious. Interesting filter here. (scratching my head) I like this!
