Description

Do not seek the safety Of the watery coast For she is there as well, Born of the netherworld Her realm encloses all Of the Other's creations. When the time arrives She is reborn again. Countless times the cycle Has begun, Only to end when the world Itself returns to from where it Began. -From "The Book of the Red Witch", 1790

Oh creepy!!! Great POV and superb lighting, very atmospheric!! B&W works really well here, giving the shot an old feeling. To look at this makes me feel uncomfortable though, but that's just me! A great shot nonetheless.

A rocky coast only looks good from the land side. I guess I'll have to think about sea witches to get beyond the Jonahs on my own boat.

I see a weathered skull with many arms reaching for a bit of rock or soil or sunlight to bring it back from a watery grave. What an eerie and awesome capture with this one, Jack. The kind of moody image that makes one turn on the nearest light and quickly scan every corner of the room. Awesome stuff! :)

Mysterious and moody, a little spooky, but striking! I love the way the light travels across the image, always at the bottom, with the darkness descending.

I can almost hear the water beating against the rocks. The whole scene done in BW is perfect with the prose. Eerie and it makes me want to finish my Stephen King novel. I really really like this one! Your work has taken a new turn as of late, and I like it!
