Description

We went to Roche Abbey just outside Sheffield yesterday. It's another one of those ruins that English Heritage have taken care of so it won't fall apart completely. Built in 1157 it's still an amazing sight even though most part of it is in pieces today. The rain was holding it's breath and eventually we had a bit of sunshine that made for some stunning views :)

OH MY GOD!!!! That is one seriously moody scene!!! What a beautiful shot this is!!!! Looks sort of surreal even, with that omnious looking sky above those ruins and that green grass. GORGEOUS!!!! Have a fantastic sunday. #:O)

Glad the sun did come out. The low light angle gives the stones even more character. Dick

Like Zacko allready wrote, light is very nice and makes it allmost surreal, allmost artificial.
