Another very nice portrait Pascale. And excellent choice of black and white for this one. I've just a problem with all clown and "mime".... they have always make me stay so sad !!!! Even when I was a little girl. I can't explain what. I love even more your series. I've try to make some street portraits in Bruxels, because there what a very interesting manifestation in front of the Basilica. I must post some of them on Renderosity. You'll tell me what you think about. Have a very nice week-end Pascale. Take care.

Honest? Youre sure you want honest feedback? Okay dear, here goes....I HATE MIMES!!!! GOOD GOD I HATE THEM!!! I HATE THEM!!! They creep me out big time!!!! BURRR!!!! Just like that disgusting photo i mentioned to you yesterday, i cant look at this one for too long either, LOL. I get sick to my stomach seeing them. But of course your photograph is perfect as always. Perfect focus, and you can even see a slight movement of that hand...(BURR...its miming isnt it....sigh). There...to sum up my honest opinion: You took a great shot of a horrible subject, lol. Have a wonderful saturday Pascale!!!! #:O)

Wonderful story telling image.Beautiful B+W. exquisite portrait.

I think that being a mime is a really hard job. People either don't like you or they don't understand you....A really nice capture. I like it. Aloha

Kewl shot here. Remind me of the silent movies. Excellent shot. Aloha

It is easy to see that my fellow Swede don't like mimes (mildly said :-) I cannot say I like it either, even if I don't hate it, but I definately love your photo here, really expressive, needs no words :-) B&W fits so well here, and you always have that clarity...Mmmmm!!!

I don't suffer from mime-phobia! I absolutely love'em, maybe its because they don't talk much and always show somekind of gesture towards others! I like this image alot. B&W gives it a mood and definitely "brings out" that expressive face! BUT, for some reason, I'm craving color ! A combo of both would do! Maybe try the selective coloring, just on the hat stripes for just a bit of OOOMPH!

Zacko seems to have the same opinion as me about everything today! I loathe mimes too but this photo is terrific. Caught at a superb moment of communication. Very effective in black and white.

Wonderful shot!!!

Pascale, everyone here seems to prefer the b/w..honestly, I think I would like a colored version of this one,..The little mouse prop, the girls hat and lips..I don't know..just would like the color..Still a terrific shot no matter b/w or color..
kansas
Well, I love mimes. They say so much without words. I think that people who don't like them are afraid to look deep within themselves. A wonderful shot.
Artzy
Great Shot!
Digimon
Wonderful! I love them black and white shots! Could use a tad level adjust!
DJB
Real nice expression. A bit tight of crop on on sides for this one to me.Still... you do fantastic with the people.
ovag
You took his (her ?) expression in a perfect way ! As usual.
pm_hackworth

Great shot. The expression is perfect and B/W a good choice.

This kind of performer gives me the creeps, I don't know why but they do. Looks great in b&w but that mouse or monkey weirds me out too!

evielouise
I love this I think alot of people are somewhat afraid ( for a better word) of people who do not choose to talk ,perhaps its what they might hear lol don't know but I do know these are great!!
TwoPynts
there is somethings a bit surreal and almost frightening about this performer, i can't put my finger on it. superb capture!
Akinom
hehe... her expression and pose brings out the kid in me... at least some nice memories to the childhood... makes me smile from ear to ear! Thanks for sharing, Pascale! v*****

aha.. i recognise that hat and lipstick!!! Is that one of those push up puppets that hide in a cone... very European.. We have one called Jenny Turret... she's a bit like a street artist clown to look at herself. She's given the kids a lot of fun! Another very good portrait.. possibly your top genre i think!
KiwiMiss
Excellent in B&W, I think it suits the fact that she's a mime artist! Wonderful expression :)
