Description

A favorite of artists and photographers for generations, Motif #1 was blown down in a Nor'easter a while back and a replica was built by the town of Rockport. on the same spot. For some reason, I always thought this motif was in Rockport, Maine, but as it turns out, it's in Rockport, Massachusetts. So here it is....kind of a postcard type image. The day was beautiful...too beautiful...no clouds...no fog...Ah well, I'll just have to go back!...and have lunch at the Causeway Restaurant again also.

Wow!!! What a gorgeous photo!!! IT IS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!!! Are those fish that theyre drying on that wall? That red building look so perfect against that blue sky. Brilliant work!!!! In all honesty though, i find the frame to be just a tad distracting. I think it would have been even more post-card beautiful with only a simple white frame around it. Just my 2 swedish kronor though. Lovely shot indeed! Have a wonderful day. #:O)

That's some cheeky seagull, an idiot too. Didn't he recognise a feast, or was it BENEATH him (I catch 'em fresh and wriggling, his philosophy). Cliff.
