And this is my little Dragonfly...
I've made this macro some weeks ago, when I was with Christophe (Chrysalide on Renderosity) to make some shots in the Abbey of Thoronet.
This little Dragonfly was near a fontain outside the Abbey, but it has been very difficult to shot her.... she fly everywhere !
It's not a great macro... but I like it, and in particular some details and the colors (natural) of the background

I love dragonflies and damsels. this one is a real beauty and when doing macros, it is hard to get all of a large insect in focus as this , the focus is in the wing. I had the same trouble a few days ago trying to shoot a damsel becuse of limbs behind it hogging the focus

OOOOH!!!! Now you just blew my mind my dear friend!!!! This is a shot i have been trying to take all year but failed miserably each time. I never seem to get closer than 5 meters from a dragonfly before he flies off....not that i have ever seen one even land. WOW!!! What an incredible close-up!!! And your frame is beautiful!!! Wonderful capture of this hard-to-capture dragonfly! Yeah, they can be unquiet, hopping from one place to another while you're chasing it with your cam but... you succeeded! :)

splendida macro!! sei stata fortunatissima... o anche solo bravissima!! io ho corso per un bel po' dietro a una libellula rossa e ad altre piccoline azzurre... ma non c'nulla da fare... e dalle mie parti non ci sono piposti con tante libellule :(((
