Description

there were several butties chasing each other and would not land for more than a minute and as I would approach they would fly. I got about 6 feet from this one and manage to get this shot before it was gone. it looks similar to a monarch but I do not think it is.too much difference in markings I hope this new week brings health relief to those that are sick and otherwise wonderful time thanks for your visit and comments

What a beautiful butterfly, huge! This is the first time I have ever seen a shadow like this from one, usually they are to small. Incredible capture Richard! Love the crisp leaves and the sense of metamorphosis suggested by both. "To everything turn, turn, turn, there is a season" Wonderful!!Bravo V
