We realise only for a short time how fragile life is and then only forget. This year we have seen much destruction and death abroad but also at home. I hope that we learn from them.

Sadness for all these disastrous victims in South Asia. The largest earthquake I've been in was in 1975 measured at 7.2 . Their earthquake was much more massive. Prayers and thoughts to them and also the Guatemala mudslide victims. Aloha

A beautiful shot and a kind homage to all that guys. The world became so crazy... and it's time for us to pay all we have done in destruction of Mother Nature, even if it's so sad. I agree with the words of Egmont, our life is something precious and fragile, in one second it could be changed completly. That's why we must take care of us, and of our wonderful little planet. I like the infrared effect you do on this shot. Really beautiful and very similar to the filter effect. Superb ! V

Yeah, it almost seems like the wrath of God...tsunami's hurricanes, tornados and earthquakes...a fitting memorial.
