Description

The final destination of this day's trip was The Grand Canyon; however, this tree caught my eye and camera lens first.

How lovely! I remember drawing detailed wood grain for an art class project. I love how you captured the tree's personality by showing the grain of the wood. It is poetry. Smiles

wow so many shapes and forms, you have to take this tree from more angles, interesting and so nice. The texture really jumps at you. S well done.

I've always found Junipers fascinating - such tortured shapes. They have a wonderful, sweet aroma when burned as firewood, though the wood is soft and doesn't last long. It also pops and throws sparks. Thanks for bringing me this glimpse of my old home state. A wonderful view!
