Description

I just recently downloaded a bunch of filters. The flood filter, which we've recently seen, is a fascinating filter. I've been experimenting with it and over the next few days I plan on uploading some of them. Today's pic is Chimney Rock, Ghost Ranch, New Mexico. You've seen a lot of Ghost Ranch in many of my shots, but never any were the water level is at the base of the mountains, I think it's a pretty cool effect. Hope you like it because there will be a few more coming. ENJOY TODAY

Well that's kinda neat. I love experiments. Good to see others do also. I am always on the lookout for new stuff, (hint, hint)! LOL. Am I the only one who hasn't recently (or ever, for that matter) seen the flood filter. Way to go Ray!

Gorgeous! I'm not quite on the filter level yet, but hold your breath, it will happen one of these days. Just let me get my new SLR first, then we'll talk ;0) Stunning capture! Well done! :0)

I love your experimentation Ray ! The effect of this filter is a wonder. That's a surnatural effect. But not so... in other times the desert was cover by the ocean ;o))) I love the colors of theses Natural sculptures. So cool Ray ! Have a nice day. V

Had me fooled: I thought you'd used the flood filter just at the front! I might use a matching rippled directional blur at the sides, though; the general blur you used makes it look like a clumsy attempt to hide something, which I NEVER would expect from YOU! :) (P.S.--where are the fairies? :D )

Man, that flood filter is popular! Very appropraite use of it here though. I think some postwork along the edge to give the appearance of a shoreline would make it even better.

I like his sculptures made by nature! I see the layers which show to us that water worked its stones! Beautiful composition my friend!

Wow, what a stunning effect. I suspect that your talent had more to do with it than the filter, though. It's gorgeous, though I hope this particular vision never comes to pass!
