Description

This is an oil painting I did about 3 months ago - but only just got around to putting the gloss coat on top and grabbing a photo. The white specs on his face are from my lamp - they are not in the painting - and the camera has the red content up a little high too. Probably not a painting I'd put on a wall, but an interesting case study of the human form. It's only a reasonably small canvas, so his hands and face were tough. I think I did his hands 3 or 4 times. His face is a little contorted around the end of nose, and if I put more work into it - that would be the first thing I'd fix.

Well if you will not put it on the wall, maybe your front door is a good place, to keep thieves away..LOL To be serious, even if it is a painted Photo, a lot talent is needed to do it this perfect. Very very good.. ~Uwe

Freehanded? Never touch an old work! Consider it history. The next one is always the best one...I'm speaking in quotes(geezerism)...shoot me. The sparkles kinda add to the "Mr Universe" motif..;)
