Today's image is in honor Joanne's (jophoto) birthday. Happy Birthday! Joanne is fairly new to Renderosity but her gallery is filled with quality, creative images. I hope you have a good one Joanne. I'm not sure this image works to be honest. Still in St. Augustine, there is a beautiful street named Magnolia Ave. where the tree canopy grows over the road and the spanish moss sways in the light breeze. In fact, it is right outside the site of the Fountain of Youth. Anyway, I was looking at the image and was suddenly inspired to put a window or door in the scene, a la Jerry Uelsman. I checked through my files and decided to use the window from the oldest wooden school house in America, just down the road from this location. Looking at both versions, I could not decide which I liked better, or if it even works at all. But, I figured I'd take a chance and post it to my gallery and see which YOU like best. The image will shift every 5 seconds...sorry for the long load time. Tell me what you think...be brutally honest if you want. :) Have a great weekend everyone and thanks for stopping by. I'm traveling this weekend and will be back next week. ----- Thanks for stopping by and for your grinding comments on yesterday's photo, The Old Mill.

I like the reflection of the guy in the window, creepy. At first your not sure, so you wait for the next time it flashes and then you get a little more information each time. Great shot and intereactive piece! KP

Wow! Very creative... does have kind of a haunting feel, maybe in a Harry Potter/pop up book kind of way - jeez, I don't know! What the heck ARE we supposed to think? LOL. It definitely deserves a lot of thought so that makes it excellent in my book!

A very original composition Kort, and a very nice dedi for Joanna, a very kind and creative person. I love the infrared effect of both your pictures. Like in a dream.... an open window on the freedom in the middle of a forest ! I don't want to stop !!!!! I don't stoped and I continue in this way ;o)))) Magic effect ! Have a good week-end. V
