Description

After a few hundred meters higher I catch up the clouds and once again I'm walking in the misty landscape. I arrive at a farm where I take a little rest. A nice doggie (a bernese mountain dog if I'm correct) walks around me, and it moves me when it is going to sit down right under my bench. I still see nobody else but obviously this dog looks for company. I talk to it and the dog walks around me and lies down again close to me. Sweet dog! I decide to continue my way and suddenly I see I took the wrong track from the farm. But... if I had taken the right track I would have missed this rivulet in the clouds! Have a nice Sunday! Another superb shot Jan-Carel ! It's so pleasant to walk allong this river. Each stop is a peaceful moment and a surprise. And always this soft atmosphere... I love it ! Please, continue your climb. Is there more on the left side of the picture? If there is, I would move the tree more to the right (as a partial frame), because the stream IMO is your main feature. The cascades at the bottom of the pic are excellent, and the upper stream guides the eye to this spot - - Dick

Its very interesting following your travel story. We're lucky that you did take the wrong turn to find this river. It is very breathtaking. The clouds still lurking presents another element of danger in finding your way. It does not scare Jan-Carel one bit. The rewards of your hike is beautiful. Excellent. Aloha

This one to me is perfectly compoed! What a vision to come upon, thank goodness we loose our sense of direction once in awhile or these wonderous shots would be missed. Can't wait for more of this series, watch your step! Aloha~
