Description

Back to the right track I ascend a few hundreds of meters. The clouds have ascended to about 2800 meters (about 9200 ft) and cover the top of the Augstbordhorn. The "Clouds and rain"-series showed you it was raining in my neighborhood and apparently it snowed above 2600 meters (about 8500 ft). The top of the March (left) can just been seen but the top from the Augstbordhorn (right) has disappeared. Strange idea to remember I was walking there in sunny weather a few days ago. This is a pretty picture! I suppose the white patches down the mountain side are where the snow had melted and flowed down! It looks kinda rugged to me! Well shot!

I agree with Jean-Pierre about Mother Nature... this landscape is so touching. I could imagine the emotion you feel when you were there, in front of this mountain hidden by the clouds. Just Beautiful Jan-Carel ! Have a good day. HUgs.

This slide area hints at the instability of the slopes. Mining waste is not all that scars mountains. Having a clean fresh snow higher up is a puzzle.
