Description
Today I could try to ascend the Ginals valley but that would consume a lot of energy and I want to save some energy for the next day that will be the toughest hike of the vacation. So I decided to take an alternative track through the forest. Today I won't go higher than only 2250 m (7382 ft). There are some old trees in the forest and many of them are covered with lichens, like this one.

Only 2250m....YOU`RE NUTS!!! Walking up the stairs to the second floor of my house is a big enough challenge for me, LOL. What a cool looking bark on that tree. Must be HUGE!!! Excellent find and capture! Happy hiking. #:O)
