Description

If Arthur C Clarke ever discribed the inside of the Monolith from his books and the movies "2001 A Space Odyssey" and "2010 The Year We make Contact", then I imagine it to be similar to this... where as 3rd dimensional beings, we only see the shadow and reflections of our 4th dimensional selves... it's a bit like seeing the shadow on the ground of a 3D object, it's flat, 2 dimensional... just step up one dimension... hurts the head eh! I think, correct me if I'm wrong, Stephen Hawking (English physicist) is up to about 20 different dimensions he's calculated using Quantum Theory and mathematics beyound normal comprehension... but I can't render those... I've only got a flat panel monitor... All pretty heavy stuff eh, well I had to think of something... Used the brilliant free prop from "AGentleMuse"... reflective floor (here at Rendo, thanks Jen... awesome), used it twice and spun one of them 90 degrees for a wall... took a high camera angle... added a bit of atmosphere and rendered.... My God... it's full of stars! Thanks for looking. Deane

Cool! Love the double reflection idea, but please don't inquire me on the multi-dimensional ramblings - i've lost myself after the first "where"! LOL! I suppose i'll understand by the time a 7-dimensional monitor will become available, so i'll be able to comprehend your 7-d pictures! ;)

String Theory predicts 11 dimensions (Time included). With complex maths it has been proven that a ball can be flipped inside out without tearing it when only one dimension is added. This makes the idea of people walking through walls not so far fetched anymore!

I always worked with 12 models, but I love the head inside the suit you have here. Thanks for provoking so much thought.
